(Toledo News Now) - If you have trouble seeing the letters and numbers on your computer keyboard, then you may want to hook up EZ Eyes in your USB port. The makers say the font on the yellow and black board is four times the size of normal keys.

Charlie Simmons hoped the larger font will increase his typing speed because he will be able to see more clearly.

The EZ Eyes keyboard can be hooked up easily. Simmons compares it to his normal keys and said the EZ Eyes model worked much better. It appears the actual keys themselves are not any bigger or spaced out further, but the font size is much bigger and the yellow and black contrast makes it easier to see the keys.

Simmons also wanted to know if other claims made by the manufacturer held true. For instance, apparently the board is spill-resistant. So he spilled a cup of water on the keys, just like the commercial showed. Typing again was not too difficult, although Simmons said the keys did not feel as loose as before.

Next, Simmons turned off the lights to see if the board really glowed in the dark. It did not glow at all. Multiple consumers agreed. However, consumers, along with Simmons, said they were willing to look past the spill and glow claims because the large font does make the keyboard easier to use.

"I'd give it a good grade 'B'. I wish I would've had this a long time ago," said Simmons.

EZ Eyes easily passes the Does it Work test with a solid 'B'. It can be bought for $15 at Dollar General.
