TOLEDO, Ohio — Laura Sandlin is a multiskilled journalist who joined WTOL 11 in November, 2023.
Born in Toledo, Laura's family moved to Washington D.C., where she grew up watching the news. During this time, she developed a sense of purpose in sharing stories that impact and help the community.
Laura will be graduating with a major in journalism and a minor in history in December, 2024 from Bowling Green State University. Following her graduation, she plans to pursue her master's.
During her time as a falcon, she has anchored and reported for the university's broadcast and paper, and has been involved with other various organizations in leadership positions.
Outside of work, Laura loves to spend time outside, exercise and travel and has visited over half of the United States.
