WTOL 11 nominated for 11 Emmy awards

The 51st NATAS Lower Great Lakes Emmy Award nominations were announced Monday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — The nominees are in for the 51st NATAS Lower Great Lakes Emmys, and WTOL 11 leads the way locally with 11 nominations. Among the nominations are WTOL 11's daytime and weekend newscasts, tornado reporting, winter weathercast, investigative reporting, sports features and more. The nominations are: 

  1. Newscast, Daytime: Allison Hendricks, Andrew Kinsey, Kristi Leigh
  2. Newscast, Morning: Deadly Ohio Tornadoes - Nicole Grzecki, Joe Cromer, Emily Cohen, Corey Clagg, Melissa Andrews, Michelle Backus, Tim Miller, Chris Vickers
  3. Weekend Newscast: WTOL Weekend Newscast - Vic Pratt, Joe Cromer, Nick Delwiche, Tyler Paley, Silas Tsang, Andrew Kinsey
  4. Spot News: Woodville Missing Woman Found - Eric Rerucha, Kenneth Kruse, Amy Steigerwald
  5. Investigative Report, Single Story: Guilty Without Proof - Brian Dugger, Eric Rerucha
  6. Investigative Report, Series: The Strange Disappearance of Tammy Grogan - Brian Dugger, Eric Rerucha
