"We're thrilled to be launching the Toledo Savings Pass on 419 Day because like this day, it's a celebration of the Toledo area," Caleigh Heuring, Director of Marketing and Communications at Destination Toledo said in a press release. "This pass was an opportunity for us to connect visitors and locals to great discounts on beloved attractions or new experiences they haven't had yet. You can get one for yourself or gift one to a neighbor - and it all goes back to the community."
Proceeds from pass purchases will be donated to the Greater Toledo Community Foundation, Destination Toledo said. The money will aid local initiatives through the organization's Community Builder and Community Impact grants, which support Toledo-area nonprofits. The grants are designed to enrich the quality of life for individuals and families in the region, Destination Toledo said.
