TOLEDO, Ohio — The first-ever Erie Street Zombie Crawl will be held Saturday, Oct. 12 in downtown Toledo.

The new event, presented by Chevy's Place, Erie Street Rocks and Magnolia, begins at 5 p.m. and is said to feature spooky fun, live music and special offers.

Organizers said a tent with live music will be set up next to Chevy's Place from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Local artists Echo Record and Jack Surtman will be performing beginning at 6 p.m.

Food will be available from Taco Gringo Food Truck starting at 4 p.m. According to organizers, there will be exclusive specials at Magnolia, Chevy's Place and Erie Street Rocks throughout the evening.

“We knew we wanted to do something to kick off Halloween, and our own version of a Zombie Crawl seemed perfect,” said Nathan Chappuies, director of operations for Magnolia, Chevy’s Place and Erie Street Rocks. “Since the Adam’s Street Zombie Crawl was cancelled this year, we wanted to keep the tradition alive, so we created the Erie Street Zombie Crawl. It’s going to be a great night for people to come out, dress up, and have fun."

Organizers said a one-time $5 cover charge grants access to all three bars starting at 6 p.m., and guests arriving between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. will receive a wristband for free entry the entire night. You must be 21 years or older to enter.

Magnolia, Chevy's Place and Erie Street Rocks are all located near the corner of Erie Street and Monroe Street in downtown Toledo.
