TOLEDO, Ohio — Pride month celebrates the LGBTQIA+ community and commemorates its history during the month of June, prompting a variety of events, including parades, parties and more. Here's how northwest Ohio is celebrating pride month.
Pride & Poetry - Toledo Library, Reynolds Corner branch
June 13, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
This literary-inspired event offers participants to read, share, watch and experience poetry by LGBTQIA+ authors. Event participants are also encouraged to share their own poetry.
Defiance Pride - Defiance College
June 22, 11 a.m.
This event will include a pride walk, featuring vendors, entertainment, food trucks and more.
Lenawee Pride 2024 - Tecumseh Center for the Arts
June 22, 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
This annual celebration of love will feature live entertainment, merchandise vendors and community organizations.
Magic presents Pride: Commander night open play - Dragon's Roost Coffee & Games
June 29, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
If you like tabletop games, visit this game and coffee shop on South McCord Road. Visitors can play a specially-themed game of Commander.
Toledo Official Pride Bar Crawl - downtown Toledo
June 29, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The pride bar crawl starts at The Bronze Boar on South Huron Street. Check in is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are free.
Love Fest 2024 - downtown Toledo
July 13 at 3 p.m. to July 14 at 12:30 a.m.
Toledo's annual love fest comes back, celebrated at the Love Wall on Adams Street. Tickets are $5.
Fremont Pride - Walsh Park
July 20, noon to 6 p.m.
Fremont's pride festival will feature live entertainment, vendors, artists, resources, and food and drink.
Toledo Pride - downtown Toledo
Aug. 23 - 25
Toledo's main pride festivities typically happen in August, and this year is no different. Toledo's 15th pride will take place at Promenade Park in downtown Toledo. The event includes a parade, entertainment, food, merchandise and a brunch crawl.
