TOLEDO, Ohio — The Stranahan Theater in Toledo will be hosting "An Evening with Peter Billingsley and A Christmas Story" in December.
The event features a screening of the Christmas classic followed by a live conversation and Q&A with Billingsley who played Ralphie Parker in the film. The Stranahan Theater said the moderated Q&A will include stories from the set, behind-the-scenes photos and memories from the movie.
The event will be held on Friday, Dec. 20 with tickets going on sale on Friday, Sept. 13. Organizers said tickets start at $21 and can be purchased at this link, or the venue box office. There is also an option for VIP tickets which include a personal preshow photo opportunity with Billingsley.
Billingsley began his acting career at the age of three before becoming a "pop-culture icon" for playing Ralphie in "A Christmas Story." He has been nominated for three Emmys, a Tony Award and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
