For an hour each day, we introduce our audience to all the great small businesses, nonprofits and community events the region has to offer.
Catch regular features such as Amanda's Knit-a-Long and Sweatin' with Steven, along with cooking segments with the region's talented chefs and preview performances from great upcoming community shows and concerts. We'll also take you out into northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan with Good Day On The Road.

About the team:
Amanda Fay joined WTOL 11 in July, 2014. She has lived in several states across the country, including Pennsylvania, where she was born, Florida, North Dakota and Indiana. She's truly enjoyed immersing herself in the communities she's lived and learning about what makes them unique.
Amanda also recently learned how to knit and you followed her journey through GOOD DAY's weekly knit-a-long. She's definitely not a pro, but can make a pretty solid dishcloth! You can also catch Amanda testing viral home hacks to see if they work, Monday's on GOOD DAY.
Amanda is a wife and mother. She loves watching her daughter, Maggie, grow. She also loves wine-tasting with her husband, Mike, and taking in a baseball game. Go Mud Hens!

Steven Jackson is an Illinois native, a huge fan of the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs and the Green bay Packers. Recently, golf became his favorite sport.
Steven has six sisters and two brothers. Even with such a large family he was kind of shy but somehow always found comfort in public speaking.
Steven enjoys community service, and encouraging young people to go after their dreams.
