TOLEDO, Ohio — Way Public Library in Perrysburg is honoring Black History Month with a painting tour of historic African-Americans.

Today, BGSU's associate professor of HIstory, Dr. Nicole Jackson was here with more details, along with the artist himself — Rob Vanitvelt.

Vanitvelt talked about what inspires his work and has a special treat to show us, while Jackson provided historical and cultural context to give us a deeper understanding of the figures in the portraits.
