TOLEDO, Ohio — On Saturday, the Toledo Zoo posted to social media announcing the arrival of new babies in the reptile exhibit.
According to the zoo, this is the first time it has ever welcomed 10 rhinoceros vipers.
In its post, the zoo states the litter is one of very few litters produced by the Associations of Zoos and Aquariums in the past decade.
The snakes will hopefully help maintain the long-term future of the species.
