TOLEDO, Ohio — The Black Pearl restaurant in south Toledo has permanently closed, management announced Tuesday in a social media post.
Management of the restaurant, located on Heatherdowns Boulevard near the Stranahan Theater, said it has closed "due to circumstances beyond our control."
"From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank our loyal and wonderful supporters," the social media post said. "Your patronage was greatly appreciated. A special thank you to our loyal and hard working staff. We wish everyone health and happiness."
The Black Pearl was known for its specialty prime rib, fresh seafood and generous drink pours, the restaurant's website said.
