TOLEDO, Ohio — Smoothie King is breaking into the Toledo market, the company announced in a quarterly report.
Five new stores will open in the Glass City as part of more than 50 new store openings and commitments in the U.S.
The Dallas-based company did not say where in Toledo the stores will be or what the dates will be for groundbreaking, construction or openings.
“We are pleased with the continued growth of our development pipeline and our reporting this quarter exemplifies the strategic plan to extend the Smoothie King market reach and bring our product to new guests around the country,” said Chris Bremer, Smoothie King's chief development officer.
Smoothie King has locations in Ann Arbor, the Detroit metropolitan area, Cleveland, Columbus and Marion, Ohio.
