TIFFIN, Ohio — Are you an entrepreneur looking for some financial backing?
Or maybe you'd like to invest in a local business?
A new website launched in Tiffin is helping to make that connection.
The Tiffin-Seneca Economic partnership has announced the launch of the Tiffin-Seneca Entrepreneurial Opportunity Clearinghouse.
The goal of the site is to host a list of business opportunities in the Tiffin and Seneca County area; including startup businesses, franchise availabilities, business acquisitions and more.
This will create a one-stop shop for all things economic development for everyone in the area to see what is happening.
TSEP will post on social media when new business listings are added to the site.
TSEP President and CEO David Zak says the website is moving the old school way of doing business by networking in person and expanding that formula online to include everyone in the community and beyond.
"You never know where the next entrepreneur could come from. Because a lot of us who are working in organizations kind of know each other, so you have that 200 to 300 people. How do we get out to the 60,000, or people in neighboring counties that may want to join our crazy tribe that that is driving economic development," said Zak
The first business opportunity is already posted on the website for a local overseer to help the expansion of Bird Scooters to move into Tiffin.
