TIFFIN, Ohio — We've all done different things during the pandemic.
Maybe you lost or gained some weight. Or learned how to bake something new.
Well, a Tiffin couple decided now was the best time to start their own business.
Jose Arias and his wife, Kimberly, have been selling Herbalife nutrition products for about seven years.
Over the years, Arias dreamed of operating his own health center as a hub for healthy products and building a positive community.
The couple was finally able to open their own smoothie shop called Happy Days Nutrition, where six days a week they will offer a variety of protein shakes and healthy teas for their customer base.
Arias says he's also happy with the slightly tucked away location because it's in the former Tiffin Drivers Exam station on East Market Street.
On top of getting random walk-ins, he hopes everyone will be familiar with the storefront.
"You know, here on the east side of town, we don't have a whole lot. We've got Heidelberg University, the Pit Stop down the street, you got IGA right here and then the Golden Crown restaurant, and that's practically it. So, you know, people can come in and get their shake, their tea, their aloes," Arias said.
Happy Days Nutrition is open Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
