TOLEDO, Ohio — UPDATE | The article has been edited to clarify that open positions are with Stellantis, not exclusively Jeep.

OhioMeansJobs Lucas County and the Lucas County Department of Planning and Development are teaming up with Jeep manufacturing company Stellantis to host a job fair.
The event will take place at the Lucas County Shared Services building at 3737 W. Sylvania Ave. Interested candidates should arrive between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19.
The event will offer visitors the opportunity to speak with company representatives about the company and available positions.
Stellantis said in a press release they are hiring immediately to fill first-shift production positions and base pay starts at $17 per hour.
Per their website, the Toledo Jeep manufacturing plant currently employs 6,290 people on two shifts, 95% of whom are hourly workers.
Jeep manufacturing in Toledo began in 1942 at the Stickney Plant. To this day, Toledo is well-known for the Jeep.
