TOLEDO, Ohio — OhioMeansJobs Lucas County is hosting a Pop-Up Virtual Career Fair on Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Area employers are continuing to struggle to recruit qualified applicants for positions. Given that COVID-19 and its variants are still very much active in the community, OhioMeansJobs Lucas County says a virtual hiring event is the best option for employers to recruit job seekers.
The following companies plan to participate in the Pop-Up Virtual Career Fair:

- Lucas County Sheriff’s Department
- Ternion Schools, Training and Education Centers
- Renaissance Hotel, Downtown Toledo
- TARTA
- Ohio Pickling & Processing, LLC
- Welch Packaging
- Great Lakes Windows
This Pop-Up Virtual Career Fair had previously been scheduled for August 19 but was postponed.
