TOLEDO, Ohio — Shell and True North are no longer offering fuel discounts through Kroger's Fuel Points Program at Toledo-area stores, a spokesperson from Kroger told WTOL 11 on Tuesday.
The spokesperson said the agreement between Kroger and True North has come to an end. Customers at Shell and True North can no longer use Kroger points at Toledo-area locations.
A spokesperson from Kroger provided the following statement to WTOL 11:
At Kroger, we’re always looking for ways to improve our customers’ experience and provide them with great value, including savings earned through our loyalty program. Our company has made significant investments in our Toledo-area stores, including the addition of on-site Fuel Centers at almost all store locations, eliminating the need for third-party fuel center collaborations. Combined with our new and enhanced option to redeem Points for dollars off groceries, customers can now maximize their savings by redeeming up to $1 per gallon of gas at our convenient Kroger Fuel Centers.
