TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - Toledo Police have arrested two men responsible for a series of robberies in the Toledo area recently.
Dustin Werner, 25, and Anthony Fresh, 32, both of Toledo, were arrested Friday afternoon. Police officers spotted the pair in the Kroger's parking lot at Monroe and Secor shortly after they committed a robbery.
Police questioned Werner and Fresh, and both confessed to several recent robberies, including:
-Family Video on Dorr, Feb. 24
-Tan Pro on Laskey, Feb. 26
-Tan Pro on Secor, Feb. 26
-UPS Store on Executive Parkway, Feb. 26
-Dairy Queen on Monroe, Feb. 27
-Apricato on Talmadge, Feb. 28
According to police, the men would pass a note to a clerk at each business demanding money.
The two were booked at the Lucas County Jail and are charged with multiple counts of robbery.
