ADRIAN, MI (Toledo News Now) - Four suspects have been arrested for a variety of charges stemming from a home invasion robbery, as well as two street robberies that occurred last week on George and State streets in Adrian, MI.
On Jan. 19, a victim was robbed at gunpoint while walking in the 400 block of State Street. The victim received minor injuries when he was struck with a pistol. His wallet was taken and a financial transaction device belonging to the victim was subsequently used by the suspects at Walmart in Adrian.
On Jan. 20, a victim was also robbed at gunpoint in the 400 block of State Street. He was walking up his front steps when he was accosted by a subject with a handgun. The suspect put the gun to the victim's head and stole his wallet. The victim was not injured.
On Jan. 23, a victim was robbed at gunpoint in the 200 Block of George Street. A suspect entered the home, held the victim at gunpoint, then stole the victim's wallet. This victim was also not injured.
The first suspect is Malachi Delonte Crenshaw, 19. He faces the following charges:
- 3 counts of armed robbery
- 1 count of home invasion - first degree
- 3 counts of assault with a dangerous weapon - felonious assault
- 3 counts of felony firearm
- 2 counts of financial transaction device - possession
- 1 count of interfering with electronic communications
The second suspect is Jerrell Delontrea Hill, 22. He faces the following charges:
- 1 count of armed robbery
- 1 count of financial transaction device - possession
- 1 count of financial transaction device - illegal sale/use
The third suspect is Tabitha Jo Davenport, 23. She faces the following charges:
- 2 counts of financial transaction device - possession
- 2 counts of financial transaction device - illegal sale/use
The fourth suspect is Renata Michel Villarreal-Banks, 31. She faces the following charges:
- 1 count of financial transaction device - possession
- 1 count of financial transaction device - illegal sale/use
- 1 count of accessory after the fact to a felony
- 1 count of lying to a police officer - violent crime investigation
The suspects will be arraigned in Lenawee County District Court.
