WATERVILLE TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) - As police search for three men wanted in connection with a home invasion and homicide in Waterville, we now know what was stolen from the home.
James Safadi was shot and killed during the home invasion that occurred over the weekend. His girlfriend hid in the bathroom and called 911.
She told police three males broke into their home and shot Safadi three times.
An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the home, along with Safadi's girlfriend's ring, seven hand guns, and ammunition – according to a source close to the investigation.
The Lucas County Sheriff's Office declined comment on the stolen items, but said the investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information should call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111.
