PERRYSBURG, Ohio — Once more - with feeling - is the sentiment behind this weekend's rescheduled 11th annual Perrysburg Winterfest. The community event was set for Friday, Jan. 10, but was rescheduled for this weekend because of the previous date's heavy rain and unseasonably warm weather.
Downtown Perrysburg, Inc. says it appreciates all the support and understanding the community has shown in regard to The People’s Choice Professional Ice Carvers Competition. The event will resume this weekend Friday and Saturday, and will feature professional ice carvings and horse drawn carriage rides along Louisiana Ave.
The event is expected to be sold out as in past years and reduced ticket rates are available for parties of 10+. Residents are told to expect the same family fun event they've enjoyed in previous years. For updates and details visit their website or Facebook page. All tickets previously purchased for Brews, Bourbon and Barbecue will be honored on Friday from 7 p.m. 11 p.m. Tickets previously purchased for Après Ice- A Retro Ski Mixer will be honored on Saturday from 7 p.m. 11 p.m.Ticketholders who are not able to attend the rescheduled event(s) are entitled to a full refund if purchased on or before Jan. 8.
Craft Brews, Bourbon and Barbecue will feature eats from local breweries and eateries including Earnest Brew Works, Frickers, and Casa Barrons. In addition to the live music, attendees will be able to cozy up in the lodge while sipping on their signature beverages and dancing to music by Chris Crickett.
Après Ice- A Retro Ski Mixer fundraising event will feature delicious wines, après ski-style cocktails and brews, and local fare from Zingo’s Mediterranean, Swig, and 7 Little Cupcakes. A variety of wine choices will be provided at the event including Whistler, Aspen and Tahoe. Guests are welcome, but not required, to wear retro ski gear.
Both events will take place in heated tents as previously scheduled and are held in conjunction with the 11th annual Perrysburg Winterfest celebration. Proceeds from Après Ice will benefit continued fee family programming presented by Downtown Perrysburg, Inc.

The People’s Choice Professional Ice Carvers Competition will feature live professional carvings both Friday and Saturday. Throughout the weekend, attendees can enjoy commissioned ice carvings on display along Louisiana as well as Horse Drawn Carriage rides.
