If you've been getting a little creative and want to share, or just want to enjoy the works of others, Plate One's open mic night is where you want to be as you slide into the weekend. This is sure to be a fun evening of creative expression, with plenty of great food, coffee, and cocktails to purchase.
Whether you want to show off your new acoustic jam or try out your spoken word poetry for someone other than cat, come on out. Now is your chance!

Shorty's Back Forty Food Truck | Fallen Timber Fairways | 6 - 9 p.m.
Its almost the weekend, so treat yourself to some amazingly delicious comfort food. Shorty's Back Forty will be out at Fallen Timbers Fairways, so you can grab some grub before teeing off. They will be out there from 6 - 9 p.m., you don't miss out.

Music lovers, you can spend your Thursday evening listening to the Toledo Jazz Orchestra - in your pajamas! If you want to stay in but maybe give your netflix account a little break, you can live stream some local music.

Food Trucks in Sandusky | Beer, Bait and Moor Drive Thru and Convenience Store | 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Food truck season is beginning is Sandusky! If you're looking for a great lunch option, there will be several food trucks every Friday until October at Beer, Bait, and Moor. All summer long, you'll have your pick of everything from pizza to tacos, with a wide range of different trucks to satisfy every craving.
Put - in - Bay Founders Day Weekend | Put - in - Bay | 11 a.m.
There's always something fun going on over at the bay and this weekend is all about the island's founding fathers! Put-in-Bay History is celebrated in DeRivera Park, downtown Put-in-Bay from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
This is perfect for the whole family and will feature live entertainment, arts & crafts from local and area vendors, vintage Put-in-Bay memorabilia and handcrafted jewelry.

Antiques, Glassware, Collectables, and Furniture | Whalen Auction | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Weekends are perfect for antiquing , and down in Grand Rapids on Friday, you can do just that. There will be plenty of great antiques, but also glass, furniture, and some other great things.
They are practicing safe social distancing and sanitizing, so try to do the same. Masks are encouraged.

Story Walk Weekends |Birchard Public Library | 4 p.m.
Its important to keep those kiddos reading all summer and with this summer reading challenge in Fremont, it is a whole lot easier to do that! Every Friday a new story is available, with lots of local fun. The kids will have to challenge themselves to find secret codes and win badges, as well as answer trivia questions.

Meditation at the Park | Whitehouse | 9 - 10 a.m.
To say this year has been stressful is an understatement, so we need to find all the ways to relax. You can start your Saturday morning feeling zen with meditation in the park. Ordinary pioneer and yoga will be hosting a 45 minute outdoor meditation session that is all about connecting with the breath, the soul and the beautiful and calming nature around us. They will incorporate different breathing exercises and a guided meditation, all to help you find your center.This meditation is being held at Blue Creek Metropark in whitehouse.
The class is $10 and pre-registration is required. Bring your yoga mats or towels and a pillow for your comfort.

Pop-up Flower Bar | Rose Leaf Flowers | 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What's better than a beautiful bouquet of flowers? Maybe one you customized yourself. Rose leaf flowers will be out with their flower bar Saturday in Tiffin at the farmers market. You can pick from a variety of locally grown flowers and to create your own bouquet.
Outdoor Yoga with Goats and Alpacas | Sunny Meade Alpacas | 10 - 11 a.m.
Exercise, goats, alpacas, fresh air, and some sunshine - who said the perfect Saturday doesn't exist?! This can be YOUR perfect Saturday, just head out to Swanton for yoga at Sunny Meade Alpacas.
This is a unique way to experience yoga, and perfect for all the animal lovers! No prior yoga experience is required, this will be a class for everyone of all skill level.
All health and safety measures will be taken, but please note you will need to bring your own mat, as they will not be able to lend any out, social distancing and face masks are also required, and there will be plenty of hand sanitizer ready! It would also be a good idea to bring sunscreen and bug spray.

One word: PIEROGI. That is all. Who doesn't just absolutely love these things? Snag yourself some Saturday at Libbie Bacon Kitchen for a fun Polish event they are hosting.
Head to downtown Monroe for polka and pierogi , plus a bunch of all delicious Michigan-made goodies.
