MAUMEE, Ohio — If the holidays allowed you to replace used items in your home, consider donating them! The Habitat for Humanity ReStore is the perfect place for that as they are in need of donations. The most needed items are appliances and furniture.
"Where we're sharing with our friends and family, maybe it's a time where we need to recognize that we need to also share with our community," said Habitat For Humanity ReStore manager Tom Farmer. "Some of the people in our community do need help."
The ReStore shop sells both new and used home goods at 25 - 80 percent off original retail prices.
"They can come in and buy reused cabinets, reused appliances at a fraction of the cost," said Farmer.
You can drop off your donations at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore shop in Maumee or schedule an at-home pick up.
