This will be the seventh year we have brought the St. Jude Dream home to the Toledo area. The success has been incredible, raising over $7,300,000 over the course of the campaign.
This has pushed the Toledo St. Jude Dream home to one of the largest and fastest-growing programs in the entire country. The money raised goes to support the research, medical care and treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
True to the dream of Toledo’s Danny Thomas, no child or family has ever received a bill for treatment, travel or housing in over 60 years since St. Jude opened. The weekend of Framing Day, we will celebrate another milestone and honor Founder's Day on Feb. 4, the anniversary of the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital over 60 years ago.

The 2022 St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway Highlights from last year's giveaway
The 2022 Toledo St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway raised $2 million dollars for St. Jude's, more than any other year WTOL 11 has participated in the fundraiser.
Susan and Rick Fandrey from Whitehouse won the beautiful St. Jude Dream Home. For the Fandreys, the home holds a special meaning. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital treats kids dealing with cancer. It's a situation the two are all too familiar with.
"Back in 2001, we found out our (then) 21-year-old son had cancer," Susan Fandrey said. "The whole family goes through that journey."
Susan and Rick's son, Scott, eventually beat cancer and is now working in the medical technology field. The Fandreys were given a home by the hospital they loved giving to.
