TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating after a 20-year-old arrived at the hospital after being shot in north Toledo Wednesday morning.
According to TPD, they responded to the area of Mettler Street and Walnut Street in north Toledo just after 11 a.m. on a ShotSpotter alert reporting 18 gunshots in the area.
Police said they were later notified that a victim in the shooting arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower right leg. According to TPD, the victim's injuries were non-life-threatening.
