TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are looking for a suspect who allegedly stole a vehicle with children inside from a south Toledo parking lot early Saturday. While the children have been located and are safe, authorities remain on the lookout for the suspect.

According to a Toledo police report and social media post from the department, a woman went into the Circle K at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Airport Highway and Byrne, with her two children - aged 9 months and 4 years - in the backseat of her car. The woman told police she noticed an unknown suspect walking around the vehicle; when she exited the store, the suspect got into her vehicle with both children still in the car.
