Police: Amazon delivery driver reports being robbed in north Toledo

The Amazon delivery driver told police that an unknown person brandished a gun, lured him into an alley and robbed him.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating after an Amazon delivery driver reported being robbed in north Toledo on Wednesday morning.

According to TPD, they responded to Lagrange Street and Noble Street at 11:30 a.m. on a report of a robbery. 

An Amazon driver told police that an unknown male brandished a gun and lured him into an alley behind the 1100 block of Yates Street. Police said the suspect fled with an unknown amount of cash from the driver.

If you have any information, you are asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
