BETTSVILLE, Ohio — Law enforcement are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed the Old Fort Bank in Bettsville Thursday morning.
According to a Facebook post made by the Seneca County Sheriff's Office, crews are searching for the male suspect who ran off after the robbery. They are being assisted by the Sandusky County Sheriff's Office and Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Secena County Sheriff's Office said they are using K9 and OSHP air patrol units to locate the suspect, as well as reviewing camera footage.
Area schools have been put on lockdown and residents are advised to check outdoor personal security cameras. If residents see anything suspicious or of interest, law enforcement asks they call the Seneca County Sheriff's Office at 419-447-3456.
