BRYAN, Ohio —  The Bryan Police Department is looking for a man who led officers on a high-speed chase that left an infant injured.

Officers received a call at approximately 9:30 p.m. with information that Zachary Chervenka, 32, from Butler, Indiana, was seen at Walmart and was reported to have an active arrest warrant.

Police at the scene attempted to make contact with Chervenka but he entered his vehicle and fled the scene with two children inside.

While officers pursued the vehicle, an infant was ejected from the moving car.

Due to hazardous weather conditions and high speeds, the pursuit was terminated by police.

Both children were located at the scene but Chervenka ran away on foot.

The infant was transported to a hospital for further evaluation and is currently "in fair condition," according to police.

Chervenka is described as a Caucasian male, 5'6" tall, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

The Bryan Police Department is requesting community assistance in locating Chervenka. They are pursuing any leads related to this incident.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Zachary Chervenka is urged to contact the the department at 419-633-6050.
