Central Toledo shooting victim identified; no suspects in custody

Police found the 28-year-old dead on the 2000 block of Fulton around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police have identified the man who was shot dead in central Toledo early Wednesday morning.

Aaron Bruster, 28, was found on the 2000 block of Fulton around 12:30 a.m., after officers received a Shot Spotter alert of multiple shots fired. 

Upon arrival, they found Bruster lying dead on the sidewalk. Officers on scene said he had been shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nobody was around when police arrived and at this point, no suspects are in custody.
