TOLEDO, Ohio — A person was hospitalized in what police described as "serious condition" after a shooting near a west Toledo bar early Sunday.
In a report, Toledo police said they responded to Unique's Lounge in the 5300 block of Dorr Street at 4 a.m. after receiving a call for a person shot. Police said shortly thereafter they received a report from a local hospital, regarding a walk-in gunshot wound. A person, described in the report as a 37-year-old male, was admitted to the hospital in serious condition.
Police said they located evidence of a shooting in the parking lot of the bar. A report stated this included shell casings and blood beneath a truck, which had also been struck by gunfire.
Police said no suspects had been apprehended, according to the report.
