TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating after bullets struck a home in east Toledo Wednesday night.
The incident happened on Main Street near Delence Street around 11:30 p.m. Police said in a report they responded to the scene after receiving "more than one" ShotSpotter Alert at the intersection of Main Street and Berry Street.
Police arrived on scene and discovered a shot had gone through the window of a home in the 800 block of Main Street. A resident of the home had been sitting near the window at the time of the shooting and suffered a minor injury due to the broken glass, police said in the report.
The injured person was treated on scene by Toledo Fire and Rescue.
Officers at the scene told WTOL 11 they believe two different people or groups were shooting at each other.
Officers found several shell casings scattered in two separate areas nearby.
