Toledo police investigating armed robbery at Family Dollar

TOLEDO, Ohio — Police are investigating an armed robbery at a west Toledo business that occurred Tuesday night. 

According to a Toledo police report, officers responded to the Family Dollar in the 2800 block of West Central Avenue at approximately 10 p.m. regarding a robbery. A store employee told police two armed men entered the store and both pointed firearms at the clerk, demanding money.

One of the suspects grabbed an unknown amount of cash from the register, police said in the report, before both fled the location on foot. 

There were no injuries reported in the incident.
