FOSTORIA, Ohio — Fostoria police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Dollar General Sunday night.
FPD said they responded to the store, located at 1515 N. Countyline St., around 9:49 p.m. for a call of an armed robbery.
According to police, an employee at Dollar General said a male subject came into the store, demanded all of the money from the cash register and said "don't make me use this" while reaching into his pocket.
Police said the suspect took off with approximately $630 in cash and fled westbound towards Fostoria Reserve Mobile Home Park.
According to FPD, the suspect was described by a store employee as "white, possibly Hispanic, approximately 5-foot-7, thin build and long dark hair."
Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery or anyone who lives nearby that has possible surveillance video of the incident to contact the department at 419-435-8573, or email Detective Sgt. Nate Elliott at Nelliott@fostoriaohio.gov.
