TOLEDO, Ohio — Four central Toledo homes were shot when two groups of people exchanged gunfire Sunday afternoon, police said in a report.
Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of Freeman Street at approximately 3:30 p.m. after receiving a Shotspotter alert. According to the report, Toledo police spoke with four people in the block whose homes were hit by gunfire.
Police said they determined the homes, in addition to a vehicle parked on the street, were all struck when two groups of male suspects exchanged gunfire. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

No one was injured during the incident, police said.
