TOLEDO, Ohio — Authorities are investigating two robberies at west Toledo gas stations that occurred over the weekend, according to police reports.

Toledo police officers first responded to a Circle K in the 3800 block of Haverhill Drive at approximately 6:30 a.m. Friday after receiving a call for a robbery. According to the police report, a store employee said a suspect, described as a male, entered the store and made a motion to indicate he had a firearm.

The suspect then allegedly demanded money from the register, and the employee complied. The suspect then fled with the money on foot, traveling westbound on Berdan Avenue, police said.

There were no injuries reported in the incident, according to police.

Officers responded to a second aggravated robbery on Saturday at approximately 5:30 a.m. at the Stop N Go in the 400 block of West Alexis Road.

Police said a clerk told them a masked, female suspect entered the store and brandished a handgun. The suspect then allegedly demanded money from the clerk, who complied.

Police said the suspect then fled the scene on foot and went outside, where a male suspect was waiting for her.

There were no injuries listed in the police report. No arrests were listed as having been made, and it is unknown if the incidents are related to one another.
