TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting in central Toledo Sunday night.
According to a Toledo police report, crews responded to the 2200 block of Kent Street at approximately 10:30 p.m. after receiving a call for a person shot at the Moody Manor Apartment. Police then received a call from a hospital, which said it had received a walk-in gunshot wound victim.
The victim, a 19-year-old, sustained a non-life threatening injury, police claimed.
Police said they investigated the Kent Street location, but were unable to locate a scene. According to the report, witnesses told police the shooting occurred in the parking lot.
Police did not name any suspects in the report.
