SWANTON, Ohio — Lucas County Sheriff's deputies have arrested a man who barricaded himself in a Swanton home Friday after firing shots during an alleged road rage incident in Holland.
According to deputies, Russell Friedman fired shots during a road rage incident on Airport Highway in Holland and then drove to a residence on Shaffer Road where he barricaded himself inside.
Nobody was injured in the shooting or the standoff.
According to deputies, a person was able to get Friedman's license plate, which helped law enforcement track him to the Swanton address.
A SWAT team entered the home and took Friedman into custody without issue, according to deputies.
Friedman was charged with Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Menacing, and Inducing Panic and booked into the Lucas County Jail.
