TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man was arrested for allegedly shooting another person outside a west Toledo bar earlier this month.

Dmontrae Curtis, 22, was arrested Monday by Toledo police and charged with felonious assault for allegedly shooting a 22-year-old outside Chasers bar on Dorr Street on Saturday, June 15.

Curtis made his initial appearance in Toledo Municipal Court Tuesday where a judge set his bond at $100,000 at no percent. A preliminary hearing has been set for July 2 at 9 a.m.

According to TPD, they responded to the location on a shots fired call just before 1:45 a.m. While crews were en route to the location, additional calls came in for a person shot.

The victim later arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds to his thigh and ankle, police said.

TPD said numerous shell casings were found in the parking lot outside the bar, as well as one shot into the window at the front of the location.

It was the second shooting outside the location in a matter of a week. On June 8, TPD said a person was left in critical condition after a shooting outside the bar.
