TOLEDO, Ohio — A Detroit man was arrested and indicted in the fatal shooting of a 50-year-old in east Toledo last month.

Dujuan Clements, 38, is accused of shooting and killing Dennis Bohlen, 50, on Forsythe Street between Woodville Road and Navarre Avenue on Aug. 19.

A murder warrant was issued for Clements on Aug. 28 and he was arrested in Detroit by U.S. Marshals, the Detroit Police Department and Michigan State Police. He was indicted Thursday on the following charges: two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of murder, one count of felonious assault, one count of kidnapping, one count of having weapons while under disability and discharge of firearm on or near prohibited premises.

The shooting happened around 1:18 a.m. Detectives at the scene told WTOL 11 they were notified about a ShotSpotter alert in the area. When police arrived at the scene, they found Bohlen lying in the middle of the street with at least one gunshot wound. First responders attempted CPR but the man died from his injuries.

The Lucas County Coroner's Office's autopsy report said Bohlen's cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and his manner of death was classified as a homicide.
