Man dies in Findlay shooting Sunday evening

Police at the scene told WTOL 11 they found an 18-year-old in an alley with at least one gunshot wound to the chest.

FINDLAY, Ohio — Findlay police are looking for a suspect accused of shooting and killing a man Sunday evening.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. on the 100 block of Howard Street off of North Main Street, according to a press release from police. 

Police said in the release they found 18-year-old J'vion Zimmerman, of Port Clinton, in an alley with at least one gunshot wound to the chest.

Zimmerman was taken to the hospital where he later died.

No arrests have been made but a juvenile person of interest is being sought for questioning, according to FPD.
