FINDLAY, Ohio — A man was arrested in Hancock County after he jumped from a second-story building and ran from sheriff's deputies.
The Hancock County Sheriff's Office said they were responding to an address in the Dold subdivision in Findlay on Tuesday morning to follow up on an investigation from the previous night.
That's when Garland Breitigam, 34, exited a second-floor window, jumped off a porch roof and took off running before he was later arrested after a short foot pursuit.
Breitigam also had an active arrest warrant out of the Tiffin/Fostoria Municipal Court for a charge of theft by deception.
A deputy from the Hancock County Sheriff's Office and Breitigam were treated at the hospital for injuries.
The sheriff's office said that Breitigam will be charged with obstructing official business and that the original investigation is still ongoing.
