TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man accused of causing a crash in May that killed a 41-year-old has pleaded not guilty.
Devin Horner was arraigned in Lucas County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday and pleaded not guilty to the following charges:
- Two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide
- One count of involuntary manslaughter
- Two counts of failure to stop after an accident
- Two counts of operating vehicle under the influence
According to Toledo police, Horner was traveling eastbound in the 200 block of Bancroft Street just after 4 a.m. on May 18, when he went left of center and struck Kato Hull, 41, head-on.
Police said Hull was pronounced dead at the scene.
Horner is scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 20 for a pretrial hearing.
