Man reports being shot, carjacked in south Toledo early Tuesday morning, police say

The man, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries, told police that he was shot after being carjacked on Glendale Avenue.

TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police are investigating after a man reported being shot after a carjacking in south Toledo. 

TPD responded to the 4800 block of Eastwick Drive on reports of a person shot at 2:42 a.m. When crews arrived, they found the 25-year-old victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his lower leg. He was treated on the scene before being transported to the hospital.

The man told police that he was shot after being carjacked at the 4900 block of Glendale Avenue. No description of a suspect or a car was provided in a police report from TPD.
