TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo police arrested a 22-year-old man Wednesday evening after they say he wielded a knife and demanded money at a Rally's on West Bancroft Street before fleeing.

The incident began shortly before 5:30 p.m. when a man with a knife went into the Rally's at 1035 Bancroft Street and demanded money from the restaurant's safe, according to a report from Toledo police.

Police were called to the restaurant for a report of a man armed with a knife. While they were on their way, the suspect fled the restaurant, according to the report.

Officers spotted the suspect and arrested Marcus Jones, 22, after a brief foot pursuit.

No one was injured in the incident, police said.
