MONROE COUNTY, Mich. — A Monroe man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another person multiple times earlier this month.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said Jason Kraatz, 48, was taken into custody for stabbing someone in the 7900 block of N. Dixie Highway in Berlin Township on March 20.
A warrant for assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder was issued for Kraatz on Monday and he was taken into custody on Tuesday.
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said they responded to the location on North Dixie Highway on March 20 for an altercation between two people. Deputies confirmed that one person was stabbed during the incident and they were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Kraatz was arraigned in court and given a $25,000 bond with conditions, including a GPS tether, according to the sheriff's office.
