A man has been indicted on a murder charge Thursday following a May homicide in central Toledo.
45-year-old Isaiah Fuller was arrested Tuesday after a murder warrant was issued July 1 for the death of 40-year-old Gerrard Jackson, according to the Toledo Police Department.
Fuller was booked in jail on the murder warrant.
Jackson was found dead overnight in the 1300 block of Fitchland Avenue near Sylvan Avenue.
He was suffering head trauma at the scene when officers arrived, according to a press release.
On May 11, a 911 caller reported shots fired and a man laying on the ground, according to TPD.
Officers arrived to find Jackson's body laying on the grassy area near the sidewalk with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
