MONCLOVA, Ohio — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being struck by a pickup truck in Monclova Friday, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers told WTOL 11.
John Miller Jr., the driver of the pickup truck, was arrested at the scene on Monclova and South Eber roads Friday afternoon.
Impairment appeared to be a factor in the crash, OSHP said in a press release Friday night.
Miller was driving westbound on Monclova Road when he struck the victim, who troopers say was checking her mail at the time.
