Person killed in north Toledo shooting

The age of the victim, a male, is not known. Toledo police said around 5:30 p.m. on Friday there were no suspects.

TOLEDO, Ohio — One person was killed in a shooting in north Toledo Friday afternoon.

The age of the victim, a male, is not known.

The Lucas County Jail confirmed to WTOL 11 shortly after 7 p.m. that a suspect had turned themself in for the shooting.

Police responded to the shooting on Twining Street, near the intersection of East Manhattan Boulevard and Stickney Avenue, around 3:30 p.m.

If you have any information, you are asked to call or text Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward.
