TOLEDO, Ohio — A person was taken to the hospital after being shot at a south Toledo apartment building on Sunday night.
The shooting occurred in the 5900 block of Walnut Circle Drive around 10 p.m.
Toledo police set up a crime scene in front of one of the buildings at the apartment complex. They say a person was taken to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds and was in critical condition.
Police say the shooting happened inside one of the apartments and the victim was not a resident.
Kevin Williams, 52, was arrested and booked into Lucas County Jail on felonious assault charges. According to court documents, Williams shot the victim multiple times, causing serious physical injury.
